SUPERVISOR GUIDE

The Supervisor Role section of the handbook outlines the responsibilities and tasks of supervisors before, during, and after the semester. Before the semester begins, supervisors provide training and onboarding for new coaches, create shared calendars for coaching duties, and facilitate the process of adding coaches to courses and PimaConnect. They also coordinate progress surveys and ensure the equitable distribution of students/courses to coaches. During the semester, supervisors conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with coaches, utilize various communication channels for ongoing support, and review monthly reports to identify challenges and trends. They assist coaches in identifying resources for students, developing workshop content, and analyzing coaching data for program improvement. Additionally, supervisors engage with stakeholders and facilitate the conclusion of the semester by reminding coaches to express gratitude to faculty members.
