Anne Huth is an Instructional Designer with the Center for Learning Technology at Pima Community College. She holds advanced and terminal degrees in science, but loves learning about art history.

Authors

Mariana Carreras (MFA 1999, The George Washington University) is an award-winning painter, educator, author, and lecturer. She loves inspiring and facilitating the creative process of her students, having done so for over 29 years. Mariana has been nominated for the Best Arizona Art Educator award and received the Excellence in Education Award, a lifetime honor bestowed by Pima Community College. Her paintings have been exhibited in galleries throughout the Americas and Europe, and her art is held in many private international collections. Mariana lives in Tucson, AZ, with her daughter, Isabella, and their small Chihuahua, Buddy.

Mano Sotelo, BFA, MFA, MBA, is a visual artist, author, and educator. Mano has over 20 years of experience teaching in higher education and has given presentations at Harvard and Oxford. His art has received recognition in both national and international competitions and has been showcased in museums and galleries across the United States. www.sotelostudio.com

Hiro is a member of the International Academy of Ceramics. He had been teaching at Pima since 1999. His artworks were collected by museums all over the world. Private collectors of his work include the late David Bowie. He has also been commissioned to create many public artworks.
